At the March 30, 2003 WWE WrestleMania 19 PPV from the Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington, Brock Lesnar challenged the WWE Champion Kurt Angle in the Main Event of the evening, trying to regain the title he lost to the Big Show at Survivor Series.
He won the right to be the #1 contender by winning the 30 man Royal Rumble match earlier that year.
In a great 21 minute match, Brock Lesnar defeated the ‘Olympic Gold Medalist’ Kurt Angle after a shooting star press that hardly connected, followed by an F5, thus winning the WWE Championship for the second time.
One of Brock Lesnar’s greatest matches ever, no doubt about it.
