• Hiroshi Tanahashi’s Retirement Match Opponent Is Top AEW Star
AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada has made a shocking return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, confronting longtime rival Hiroshi Tanahashi in his hometown of Anjo – and setting the stage for Tanahashi’s retirement match.
The moment came at the close of the November 8th NJPW event, when Tanahashi had just wrapped up a main event victory over Yuto-Ice. As the Ace celebrated with his trademark air guitar routine, the familiar sound of a coin drop echoed through the arena, a signal fans in New Japan hadn’t heard since The New Beginning 2023.

The building erupted as Okada stepped through the curtain, accompanied by Gedo. Okada entered the ring and approached Tanahashi, echoing the same words he used when he first challenged him over a decade ago. Okada told him, “Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for your hard work.”
He then laid down a challenge for January 4, 2026, effectively positioning himself as the man who wants to close out Tanahashi’s legendary career at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Okada added a subtle jab before leaving the ring: “Don’t get too tired before then.”

After Okada’s challenge, Gedo took the microphone to drive the point home, as he declared that “Okada vs. Tanahashi will make for the perfect retirement because Okada is on another level!”
He finished by promising that “the rain will fall on Wrestle Kingdom 20,” signaling the return of the Rainmaker era in what could be one of NJPW’s most emotional main events in years.
• Charlotte Flair Reacts To Her Wardrobe Malfunction On SmackDown
The SmackDown after Saturday Night’s Main Event aired last night from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
It was quite an action-packed episode, kicking off with a new feud between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black, Chelsea Green dethroning Giulia to claim the Women’s United States Championship and ending with Drew McIntyre’s suspension.
However, one of the most unexpected and talked-about moments of the night was WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair’s wardrobe malfunction.
The Queen shared a brief staredown with new WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill on her way to the ring for her match against Nia Jax. The screen cut to black multiple times during the bout after The Queen suffered a n*p slip. She had a rough night overall as Lash Legend debuted to take out her partner Alexa Bliss, leading to Jax securing the win while Flair was distracted.
A fan took to X to ask if Charlotte Flair had a wardrobe malfunction. The Queen replied that she might just have to change her gear at this point:
“I’m going to start wrestling in the robes”
