In the weeks following her father’s death, Brooke Hogan has come forward with disturbing claims about the final chapter of Hulk Hogan’s life on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show – raising serious questions about the care he received while hospitalized. According to Brooke, what began as cautious optimism turned into fear as she and her father’s ex-wife, Jennifer McDaniel, noticed troubling patterns during his medical treatment. She says the two women were involved in managing his health in the past, believing they had stabilized him to a point where he could continue living for many more years.
Though Hulk’s heart condition was a concern, Brooke said it wasn’t the surgery that worried her most. Instead, she feared the effects of medications that could slow his breathing – particularly opioids. She recalled sending detailed instructions to the hospital, explicitly warning against the use of such drugs.
But those warnings, she claims, were not followed. Brooke alleged that staff administered incorrect medications, including double doses, and that the mishandling of his treatment may have accelerated his decline.
Even more unsettling, Brooke described an environment where her father’s fame seemed to take precedence over his privacy. She says that while he was under sedation, medical staff attempted to take unauthorized photos of him. At times, she and Jennifer had to physically intervene to prevent it – acting more like security than grieving family members.
As she pieced together the sequence of events, Brooke said she began to sense that something was seriously wrong – that these weren’t isolated incidents, but symptoms of a much deeper breakdown in care.
Reflecting on that period, she admitted that both she and Jennifer had done the heavy lifting in trying to preserve his quality of life, only to watch it unravel under the supervision of professionals they no longer trusted.

Brooke Hogan didn’t attend her father Hulk Hogan’s funeral. She issued the following statement about it:
“My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn’t want one. And although I know people grieve in many ways – and I’m so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honor him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how…privately…the way that made me feel the closest to him. The only thing missing today was him in is pop up lawn chair watching the waves… and the sunset.
Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved. Molly loved the water. I think she’ll be a ‘little fish’ as you called me.
We love you and honor the things that made you so special. Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you. I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you.
