• Dominik Mysterio & 2 More RAW Stars To Compete For AAA Mega Title

Triplemania XXXIII has its Mega Championship match and it will feature WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.

Reigning champion Hijo del Vikingo issued an open challenge for his title on AAA TV last night in Mexico City. Dragon Lee was the first to answer, followed by El Grande Americano. The situation escalated quickly, with Vikingo and Lee teaming up to dispose of Americano. But before either man could regroup, the lights dimmed and another masked figure stormed the ring.

The mystery man laid out both Vikingo and Lee before unmasking to reveal himself as none other than Dirty Dom. With the pieces now in place, AAA confirmed that Vikingo will defend the Mega Championship in a four-way match against Dragon Lee, El Grande Americano, and Dominik Mysterio at Triplemania XXXIII on August 16.

Earlier in the night, a different debut grabbed attention for more traditional reasons. El Grande Mexicano made his first AAA appearance by defeating Octagon Jr. in a well-received match. The crowd embraced him from the start, and after the win, he leaned into his national pride – cutting a short promo proclaiming his identity as a true Mexican and even singing “Cielito Lindo,” which earned him even louder cheers.

• Undertaker Has a Message for Trick Williams After Chokeslamming Him

This week’s episode of NXT was built around an appearance from WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker. The American Badass confronted TNA World Champion Trick Williams. Undertaker said Trick has everything – except respect. Undertaker said you can have the whole package, you can have the talent, and everything in the tool box, but with your attitude, it will only be a matter of time before Trick loses his title.

Trick said he doesn’t care about Taker’s WWE LFG Team because none of them can ever become a star like him. Undertaker said Trick doesn’t have what it takes to take out an OG. Trick went for a cheap shot on Taker, but Taker countered and took him out with a Chokeslam.

NXT ended with The Undertaker giving the following advice to the 21-year-old Je’Von Evans:

“You continue going after the biggest dog in the yard.”

This episode drew 747,000 viewers with a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is up from last week’s 586,000 viewers with a 0.12 rating. This was NXT’s highest viewership since the February 25th episode.

After the show, Undertaker sent the following message to Trick:

“Last night wasn’t your night @_trickwilliams, but the future is there for your taking. It was a pleasure sharing the ring with you, now go get yours young man…just leave my LFG team alone!”

The Phenom also shared a video of his chokeslam from another angle:
