• “I never got over him. It hurt when he cheated” – Linda Hogan Issues Statement On Hulk Hogan’s Death

Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda Hogan issued the following statement on Hulk’s death: “I had no idea he would pass away this soon. We all really thought he would make a come back! Big surprise. We are all devastated. It’s hitting me so hard. I loved Hulkster more than he loved me. It hurt when he cheated. But he was sooo famous. I sort of understood but it was crushing. It hurt. I never got over him or started a real relationship with anyone.. I missed HIM! I’ve been weeping all day.

The finality. It’s just shocking. We spent every minute together for so many years. I’ve known him since he was 28 yrs old! I was 22. I still love him. Even tho I never spoke or saw him, Nick did .. and Nick would tell me things and vice versa. Just news about life. I still felt .. although broken .. we still were a family.

It’s so hard to know he’s just gone. I tried to stay strong for Nick .. but I’m melting down now. It’s very sad. I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP”

Earlier this year in March, Linda blamed Hulk Hogan for their family’s “worst mess”.

• “Letting Hulk Hogan Sleep With My Wife Was a Huge Mistake” – Hogan’s Ex-Friend

During an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Bubba the Love Sponge admitted he deeply regrets allowing Hulk Hogan to sleep with his then-wife – a decision that would ultimately destroy their decades-long friendship. “Yes. The answer very simply is yes,” Bubba said when asked if he regretted the infamous $ex tape situation. “Times a million. I wish that… you know, Hogan was living with me at the time. It was when he was probably at the low point of his life. He was living with me.”

Bubba explained that he and his wife were in a somewhat open relationship, and he made the fateful decision in an attempt to lift Hogan’s spirits.

“We had… my wife and I had somewhat of an open relationship. I was trying to cheer my buddy up,” he revealed. “And it just – it was a complete mistake on my behalf. And I truly wish it would have never happened.”

The $ex tape, which was secretly recorded and later leaked online, would become the center of a massive legal firestorm that led to the downfall of Gawker and headlines around the world. But for Bubba, the personal fallout was even more devastating – his friendship with Hogan was never repaired.

Despite his role in the encounter, Bubba maintained during the interview that he never leaked the tape and that Hogan knew he wasn’t behind it. Still, the scandal created irreparable damage.

• Hulk Hogan Got Hit With a $10 Million Lawsuit Before Death

On The Ariel Helwani Show, Ric Flair revealed that he warned Hulk Hogan about a potentially dangerous business partnership just weeks before the wrestling icon was hit with a massive $10 million lawsuit. Flair said he spoke to Hogan multiple times to intervene.

“I called him three times and talked to him in the last month because I thought he was getting involved in a situation that is not right for him business-wise,” Flair said. “For once he didn’t heed my warning – and then he got hit with that $10 million lawsuit.”

According to Flair, Hogan had a reputation for being a sharp businessman, but this time he fell victim. “This guy that jerked him around this time… sometimes you just want to believe so much, and you try so hard. He’s such a giving guy.”
