Jey Uso Wins The Royal Rumble Match (Video)

WWE Royal Rumble 2025 kicked off with Stephanie McMahon welcoming the fans. The opening match is the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Entry #1 is IYO SKY and entry #2 is Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan. Michael Cole mentioned that 70,000 fans are in attendance tonight at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, making it the biggest Royal Rumble PLE in history. Entry #3 is NXT star Roxanne Perez. This is her 3rd Women’s Royal Rumble match. Entry #4 is Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria, who is entering her first Rumble.

Lyra suffered a wardrobe malfunction, as her top got unhooked multiple times.

Entry #5 is Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green and entry #6 is B-Fab. Entry #7 is Ivy Nile. Entry #8 is Zoey Stark. This is her 3rd Rumble match. Entry #9 is Lash Legend from NXT. Chelsea eliminates B-Fab. This was the first elimination in the match. Entry #10 is WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair, who won the Women’s Rumble in 2021. Entry #11 is Shayna Baszler, who shares the record for the most eliminations in a single Women’s Royal Rumble match with Bianca & Nia Jax: 8. Ivy eliminates Lyra. Entry #12 is Bayley, who won last year’s match. Entry #13 is Sonya Deville. Entry #14 is Maxxine Dupri. This is the second Rumble match of her young career. Maxxine eliminated Ivy and then got immediately eliminated by Shayna and Zoey.

Entry #15 is WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Naomi. Sonya, Shayna & Zoey get eliminated next. Entry #16 is Jaida Parker from NXT, who is entering her first Rumble. Entry #17 is Piper Niven and she accidentally eliminated Chelsea. Entry #18 is Natalya, who has competed in every Women’s Rumble match to date. Entry #19 is former TNA star Jordynne Grace. Michael Cole confirms that Grace has officially joined WWE. Grace eliminated Jaida and then hugged Naomi, who is her former tag team partner in TNA. Bianca wasn’t happy about this and tried to eliminated Grace. Entry #20 is Michin. Entry #21 is Alexa Bliss, who returned to WWE after 2 years to a huge pop!

Entry #22 is Zelina Vega. Entry #23 is Candice LeRae and Entry #24 is Stephanie Vaquer from NXT. Entry #25 is WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus! Entry #26 is Raquel Rodriguez. Liv eliminated Natalya & Alexa.

Entry #27 is Charlotte Flair, who is back after 14 months! She eliminates Michin and Piper. Entry #28 is NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and she eliminates Jordynne. Entry #29 is Nia Jax and she eliminates Zelina. Entry #30 is WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, who comes out of retirement.

Nia eliminates several women at once! Charlotte eliminates Nia. In the end, Charlotte eliminated Roxanne to win her second Royal Rumble match.

Up next is the 2 Out Of 3 Falls match between #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) and Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

DIY won the first fall, with MCMG winning the second fall. MCMG had DIY beat, but The Street Profits interfered and attacked MCMG, thus helping DIY retain the Titles.

After the match, Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins attacked Ciampa & Gargano as well, and posed with the Tag Team Titles.

Up next is the Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. Both the WWE Title and the Winged Eagle Title are hung above the ring.

Both men took a crazy bump on a ladder, which led to Nick Aldis and WWE Officials coming out to check on them. Sami Zayn also came out to check on Owens.

Owens got up and went for a Stunner, but Cody countered and hit a Cross Rhodes. Kevin got busted open after Cody smashed his head on the announce table. Kevin hit a low blow and was looking to hit the Package Piledriver on top of the announce table, but Cody countered and hit an Alabama Slam through a ladder.

Cody then climbed up the ladder to unhook both the titles.

Up next is the Men’s Royal Rumble 2025 match. Entry #1 is Rey Mysterio and Entry #2 is Penta. While battling Mysterio, Penta accidentally eliminated himself as both of his feet touched the floor, but since it wasn’t planned, Wade Barrett mentioned on commentary that only one feet touched the floor.

Entry #3 is Chad Gable and Entry #4 is Carmelo Hayes. Entry #5 & #6 are Santos Escobar and Otis. Entry #7 is Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker and Entry #8 is Akira Tozawa. Carmelo, who has been eliminated, attacked Tozawa.

Triple H sends IShowSpeed in Tozawa’s place. Speed eliminates Otis with help from Breakker. Breakker then hits Speed with a devastating spear and eliminates him!

Upcoming entries are Sheamus, Jimmy Uso, Andrade, Jacob Fatu, Ludwig Kaiser and The Miz.

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry enters the match and next is Roman Reigns. Roman is eliminating men left & right, including Hendry. Breakker spears Reigns, but Reigns eliminates Breakker!

Roman battles Fatu and spears him. Drew McIntyre comes out and he’s now brawling with The OTC. Finn Balor eliminates Penta.

Jey Uso has now entered the match. Entry #21 is AJ Styles making his return from injury.

Braun Strowman is Entry #22 and he eliminates Jacob! #23 is John Cena! Cena eliminates Strowman and Balor. Roman and Cena have a face-off and CM Punk enters the match. Seth Rollins enters next and he goes straight for Punk.

Dominik Mysterio enters and hits Cena with a Frog Splash. Dirty Dom tries to suplex Reigns, but Reigns lays him out with a Samoan Drop.

Entry #27 is Sami Zayn. Entry #28 is Damian Priest. Entry #29 is LA Knight. Jey Uso accidentally eliminates Sami with a superkick.

Entry #30 is Logan Paul. This is his first match since SummerSlam 2023. Logan takes out AJ & Seth, and then hits the Perfect Plex on Jey. Priest eliminates McIntyre.

LA is trying to eliminate Logan, but Logan jumps and lands on top of the announce table. Knight eliminates Priest. Styles eliminates Knight. Logan climbs up on the barricade and jumps on top on the steel ring steps, and eliminates Styles.

Punk hits Logan with a GTS. Everyone is hitting their finishers now. Only Roman and Seth are left standing. They exchange words and begin brawling. Punk eliminates both Roman & Seth, and Logan eliminates Punk! Seth brutally assaults Roman with multiple stomps outside the ring!

Cena, Logan, and Jey are left. Cena eliminates Logan! Cena and Jey are last two remaining. They trade shots and Cena hits the shoulders tackles and the 5 Knuckle Shuffle! Cena goes for the AA, but Jey counters with two superkicks.

Jey hits Cena with a Spear and both men are down. Both men are on the apron now and Jey pushes Cena off the apron for the win!
