Below are the complete results from tonight’s RAW, featuring AJ Styles, AJ Lee, CM Punk, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso & more.
– The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) was made official for Wrestlepalooza. LA Knight attacked Bron & Bronson from behind. The Vision fought LA off, but The Usos helped him.
– Backstage, LA Knight wasn’t happy about this Wrestlepalooza match announcement and asked RAW General Manager Adam Pearce for a match against either Bron Breakker or Bronson Reed. Knight will face Reed tonight.
– During the commercial, AJ Styles said he feels like somebody doesn’t want him here and has put him in a position where he can’t succeed. AJ says Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are no longer here to have his back, and neither is Michin as she’s on SmackDown.
– AJ Styles def. El Grande Americano
Another El Grande Americano showed up and tried to interfere, but Dragon Lee took him out.
– Adam Pearce informed IYO SKY that her contract signing with Stephanie Vaquer won’t take place tonight as Vaquer couldn’t attend RAW, but the Women’s World Title match at Wrestlepalooza is still on. Nikki Bella came to talk to IYO, but Asuka and Kairi Sane interrupted her again.
Asuka told Nikki to stay away from IYO. Nikki told Asuka to show her some respect. Asuka questioned what if she beats the respect out of Nikki tonight in a match. Nikki accepted the challenge.
– WWE aired a highlight video looking back at AJ Lee’s career.
– Raquel Rodriguez def. Lyra Valkyria
During the match, Lyra took out Roxanne Perez with a dropkick.
– The War Raiders told Penta they have his back. Penta asked Adam Pearce for an Intercontinental Championship match. Rusev interrupted and wants to become champion as well. Pearce booked Rusev vs. Penta.
– The New Day and Grayson Waller pushed their petition to ban Penta’s Mexican Destroyer.
– Jimmy Uso met AJ Styles and Dragon Lee backstage. Jimmy spotted Jey Uso leaving and questioned why he’s leaving, as they should have LA Knight’s back against Bronson Reed. Jey wasn’t interested in that. Jey said we should make them all acknowledge us and smash them all. Jimmy said Jey sounds like Roman now. Jey then left the arena.
– AJ Lee came out while wearing Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship. She introduced herself to the new younger fans and said she’s their favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler. AJ said she retired 10 years ago after accomplishing all her goals. AJ said she accomplished other goals after wrestling and went on a mental health journey. AJ said she wasn’t healthy, went to therapy and got treatment. AJ said that mental fight is worth it – you are worth it. AJ said she was doing good for a long time and then she was watching RAW and watched Becky Lynch put her hands on her husband. AJ said she could’ve been friends with Becky. Becky then came out.
Becky said this has nothing to do with AJ’s stank a$$ husband and called out AJ for wearing her title. Fans chanted “you suck” at Becky and she said she’ll need to go to therapy after this. Becky took her glasses off and she has a black eye. AJ laid the title down in the ring and challenged Becky to come and get it.
World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins came out and asked AJ to return Becky’s title. AJ agreed to give the title back if they agree to a mixed tag team match. Seth said this is his show and he calls the shots. He entered the ring to take the title, but AJ stopped him. CM Punk showed up from behind and went for the GTS on Seth, but Seth managed to escape. Seth agreed to a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza on September 20.
– Bayley attempted to calm down the voices in her head, which told her to do what’s best for her. Bayley said she’ll make it right.
– Rusev def. Penta
Penta took out The New Day and Grayson Waller during the match, but the distraction cost Penta the match.
– Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio said he doesn’t need anybody’s help and that he beat AJ Styles on his own. Dirty Dom said he will become double champion this Friday at Worlds Collide after he captures the AAA Mega Championship.
– LA Knight told Jimmy Uso there’s no “we” and that if he wants to help – then don’t help.
– Asuka def. Nikki Bella via submission
– The Judgment Day questioned Dominik Mysterio’s working relationship with El Grande Americano. Finn Balor asked Dirty Dom what El Grande wants in return for helping Dom last week against AJ Styles.
– Asuka confronted Nikki Bella backstage after their match and Nikki is ready for round two. Rhea Ripley showed up. Asuka told her she’s the top woman in WWE. Rhea questioned how is that possible when Asuka’s friend IYO SKY is competing for the Women’s World Championship.
– Bronson Reed def. LA Knight
During the ending moments of the match, LA punched Bron Breakker and the distraction cost him the match. Breakker attacked Knight after the match, which led to Jimmy Uso making the save. However, Bron and Bronson took out Jimmy. Jey Uso then came out, but got taken out with a spear. Bronson was going for a Tsunami, but LA took out The Vision with a steel chair. LA thanked Jimmy for having his back and Jey speared LA. Jimmy is shocked with what Jey did. Jey took Roman’s advice to heart – smash them all.
