Karrion Kross posted a YouTube video titled “My WWE Contract Ends Today.” You can read the highlights from it below:
– Karrion Kross began by saying the following: “I’ve been screwed. Things aren’t bad, just… weird. It’s like the day after WrestleMania and the Sam Roberts podcast, I slipped into another timeline. When it was over, everyone was saying, ‘Holy sh*t, that was amazing.’ Sam was telling me, ‘That’s the guy we need.’ Before I left, I said, ‘Please make sure everyone knows this was a work. Let them know I love it here, and I’m just doing my job.’”
– Karrion Kross revealed that he pitched a WWE faction based on targeting people who have done bad things in their life.
– Logan Paul pushed for Karrion Kross to be a part of his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 41.
– Kross said some people in WWE told him to not acknowledge the fan support toward him, and that felt wrong to him.
– When Kross was leaving an arena one time, Scarlett stopped him because a little girl wanted to meet Kross. Kross met her before leaving. Someone in WWE told Kross that he shouldn’t have done that because he’s a heel. Kross thinks he didn’t do anything wrong.

– Kross said he made it clear that he wanted to stay in WWE, but he’s not going to beg. He had a conversation with WWE officials, but he was disappointed because it wasn’t a real conversation. It was a short conversation that didn’t have any real substance.
– Kross revealed that Bray Wyatt wanted to expand The Wyatt Sicks faction. One of Bray’s ideas was to have Kross and AEW tag team The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) as an extension to his Wyatt faction, which he had a different name for back then. They were going to be on different brands.
– During the WrestleMania 41 review show, Kross said “f**k you” to the “guy in the suit and tie in the truck.” Kross noted that he wasn’t referring to Triple H here:
“Everybody wanted to know who’s the guy in the truck, the guy in the suit and tie in the truck. Here’s the inside scoop. There was no f**king truck. It was shot on a stationary camera which is why I said the guy in the truck so no one would feel personally attacked. But the guy in the suit and tie in the truck is a metaphor for the corporate figure that comes into an art sector and sterilizes art for the sake of viewership and monetization, it could be f**king anybody. And it’s not wrestling specific.
It’s in all different lanes of entertainment, television, music. Like we have to find a common ground of preserving the art when we’re going to try to monetize it. And that’s, man, I said so much. I wanted to say so much of what I did and it meant so much on so many other different levels. And that’s what that moment was supposed to be like. A lot of people thought like, I was talking about Hunter (Triple H). Hunter doesn’t work in the truck, nor would I ever talk to him like that. He was a wrestler. You know what I mean? Like, I was blown away that people drew a conclusion. They drew some super context. That was him. It was a metaphor, you know, and that’s basically what happened and following that a lot of people were pi$$ed.”
– At Night of Champions, WWE officials were worried that the crowd would boo if Kross lost to Sami Zayn. WWE wanted Kross to do his job right as a heel. Kross said he’s a professional and would do his best at being the worst bad guy in the ring, but WWE still brought that up to him several times.
– Kross said he was frustrated by WWE not leaning into things that make sense and are working.
– Kross said he’d love to stay and finish his career in WWE.
– Kross said his fan support shouldn’t be treated like it’s a problem, but that’s how WWE officials look at it. It’s something they didn’t think he’d get ahead of and they don’t like that he got ahead of it.
– When fans pointed out that Kross is now a top merch seller on the WWE Shop, he contacted the WWE Shop people and they told him that they don’t know. Kross did some digging and he found out it was true.
– Referring to Triple H replying “You’ve got Brock” when fans were chanting “We want Kross,” Kross said you can’t ignore fans. You can try, but it’s not going to be good in the end.
– After Night of Champions loss to Sami Zayn, R-Truth said the following to Kross: “You know, you haven’t won any titles on the main roster, but the one title that you have right now, that you will have for the rest of your life as a moment in time, is the title that the people gave you when they chose you. And that’s f**king real.”
– Kross read the following fan letter in the end and got emotional, as the fan wrote that Kross’ story saved her life:
“Dear Karrion and Scarlett, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you not just for what you do in the ring, but for who you are as people. You both inspired me in ways I never thought possible. There have been times when I honestly didn’t want to keep going. When the weight of everything felt too heavy, watching your strength and your resilience reminded me that I could keep fighting too. Your presence, energy and the love you have for your fans have saved me from my darkest moments.
Meeting you for the first time in Philadelphia in 2022, it’s more than just a cool moment with my favorite wrestlers, it was a turning point for me. I walked away from that experience feeling seen, valued and stronger than I felt in a long time. That core memory for me was one of the many reasons I made it through three miscarriages last year.
You may not realize how much you’ve impacted my life. I just wanted you to know your talent reaches far beyond the ring. Forever grateful.”
