• Mercedes Mone Is Frustrated With WWE Fans
During an Instagram Live session, AEW star Mercedes Moné grew visibly frustrated with fans repeatedly asking when she would go back to WWE.
She made it clear she’s tired of the question: “For the love of all of my fans, please don’t start asking me when I’m coming back to ‘you know where.’ I’m in a good mood, I’m in a good place. I’m tired of that question.”
Mercedes recently completed 500 days as the TBS Women’s Champion, and will become the longest-reigning TBS Women’s Champion of all time next week.
As we noted earlier, Mercedes holds the following 10 titles now:
– AEW TBS Championship
– Women’s Owen Hart Cup Championship
– CMLL Women’s Championship
– RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship (merged with SWE’s Queen of Southside Championship)
– EWA Women’s Championship
– BestYa Women’s Championship
– PTW Women’s Championship
– Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship
– BODYSLAM Women’s Championship
• Donald Trump’s Status For John Cena’s Retirement Match
As WWE builds toward John Cena’s retirement match, set for December 13 in Washington, D.C., one of the biggest questions swirling among fans is whether U.S. President Donald Trump will make an appearance.
As of now, Trump has not confirmed that he will attend Cena’s farewell show.
WWE insiders reportedly believe there’s a real possibility he could show up, and the company is enticing “leading political figures” to attend.
According to the Wrestling Observer, invitations are being extended to senior political personalities. Trump being among them is plausible, though not guaranteed.
One logistical factor is that Trump is scheduled to attend the Army vs. Navy football game in Baltimore on the same day. Because Baltimore is relatively close to Washington, D.C., it’s considered feasible for him to attend both events if he chooses.
The decision to host Cena’s final match in Washington, D.C. already brings a heightened political backdrop to the event, making the possibility of major political attendees more natural. Some White House officials have already informed WWE that they will be there.
WWE has a long history of collaborating with or featuring Trump in storylines or celebrity appearances.
If Trump attends, it could amplify media attention – not just from the wrestling world but from political and mainstream media as well.
