• More Bad News For Andrade
Andrade is still facing an uncertain future after his release from WWE earlier this year. He made a surprise appearance on AEW Dynamite in October, but was immediately pulled from programming due to an active non-compete clause with WWE.
The former United States Champion was advertised as one of the main attractions for The Crash’s 14th Anniversary Show in Tijuana on November 7. He showed up for a meet-and-greet, but walked out before wrestling after being unhappy with an unknown situation.
The Wrestling Observer had previously reported that Andrade’s non-compete only restricted him from working in the United States, which is why he was booked in Mexico.
However, in the latest update from the Wrestling Observer, it is now being reported that Andrade’s non-compete may not be limited to the United States, but could be worldwide, potentially preventing him from working for other promotions internationally.
• Absent WWE Star Headed To New York Ahead Of RAW At MSG
AJ Lee made her long-awaited WWE return in September after more than ten years away from the company. She stepped inside the ring at Wrestlepalooza, teaming with her husband CM Punk to defeat Seth Rollins and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Since that night, she has not appeared on WWE TV.
The former Divas Champion will be in New York for a signing at The Big Event convention today, which she confirmed on X:
“Doing a signing in NY! You guys blew me away last year, can’t wait to see you again!”
The signing takes place just two days before WWE RAW is held at Madison Square Garden in New York. A few weeks ago, Netflix briefly advertised AJ Lee for the November 17 episode of RAW, but later removed her from the listing.
There has been speculation that she could show up during or after Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship defense against Maxxine Dupri. There are also rumors that AJ and Becky may be part of the upcoming Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
The Big Event will feature major names, including Sting, The Great Muta, Goldberg, several AEW stars and multiple former WWE stars.
