7. New WWE Hall Of Fame Feature For Old School Wrestlers?
It looks like WWE is starting a new feature in the WWE Hall of Fame this year, which will honor the Legends of Professional Wrestling who weren’t stars on TV.
The above picture suggests that this brand new feature will be called “WWE LEGACY AWARD”.
The Professional Wrestling Legends featured for this year’s 2016 class are:
• Ed “Strangler” Lewis
• Frank Gotch
• George Hackenschmidt
• Lou Thesz
• Mildred Burke
• Pat O’Connor
• “Sailor” Art Thomas
This seems like a GREAT idea, especially for us Old School Wrestling Fans, to honor those Wrestlers who wrestled during the early days of Professional Wrestling, including the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
6. Shane McMahon To Remain on WWE TV After WrestleMania 32?
It is being reported that Shane McMahon was well-received backstage in WWE and the relationship between him and Vince McMahon has been good as of late, with the father-son duo spending a lot of time together at work.
This has lead to speculation that Shane O’Mac might be sticking on WWE programming after WrestleMania 32. Also, if WWE decides to do a brand split after WrestleMania 32, then Shane O’Mac will be an essential part of it.
