– NXT Champion Ricky Saints opened the show and challenged Trick Williams to a match at Halloween Havoc. Trick appeared on the titantron and said they would face off, but only when he decides.
– NXT and TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz met Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans backstage and told them they would handle DarkState.
– Josh Briggs defeated Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder)
This was Cardona’s first WWE match in 5 years.

– Lyra Valkyria was backstage talking with Hank and Tank and Chase U about becoming Number One Contenders for the NXT Tag Team Titles. The Culling interrupted, and Izzi Dame said only Shawn Spears and Niko Vance have the talent to get a title shot. Izzi added that she plans to win the upcoming Battle Royal. When Lyra asked about Tatum Paxley, Izzi pulled Tatum away without answering.
– A vignette aired showing Fatal Influence introducing Laney Reid as the newest member of the group.
– El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated Lexis King.
After the match, Wagner called out Ethan Page, who agreed to defend the North American Championship against him at Halloween Havoc. Wagner demanded to face Page in a Day Of The Dead Match.
– Backstage, Zaria asked Sol Ruca why she was dressed to compete. Sol said she was competing in the Battle Royal later in the night. Zaria seemed frustrated and asked Sol how many titles she needed. Zaria then told Sol that she’d be facing Blake Monroe alone later in the night.
– Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater spoke to Ava and Santino about a Tag Team Match. Stacks and Arianna Grace interrupted, and Arianna asked for Stacks to face Leon for the X-Division Championship. Ava agreed to make it official. Trick Williams then attacked Ricky Saints backstage.
– Blake Monroe defeated Zaria. Blake tried to use a chair, but Sol Ruca stopped her. While the referee wasn’t looking, Blake used a hairpin to hit Zaria and get the win.
– The Triple-Threat Tag Team Match between Chase U, Hank and Tank and The Culling ended in a Disqualification after Out The Mud returned and attacked everyone.

– Sol Ruca told Zaria to have her spot in the Battle Royal.
– Ricky Saints was furious after Trick Williams’ attack. Ava announced that there will be a contract signing between them next week for Halloween Havoc.
– DarkState attacked The Hardy Boyz backstage.

A rematch between The Hardyz and DarkState for the NXT Tag Team Titles at Halloween Havoc was announced.
– Ava announced a tournament to determine the next challenger for El Grande Americano’s WWE Speed Championship.
– Tatum Paxley won the Battle Royal to earn an NXT Women’s Championship Match against Jacy Jayne at Halloween Havoc.
Tatum had a staredown with Fatal Influence after the match. She celebrated with Lyra Valkyria to end the show.
