• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (February 6, 2023) – Old School WCW Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 2023 we lost Old School WCW Veteran Charlie Norris at the age of 59 due to heart failure after a long struggle with kidney disease.

The native american from the Red Lake Indian Reservation originally wrestled for his home promotion PWA Pro Wrestling America between 1989 and 1996, except for 1993 where Charlie Norris left and joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling promotion for a couple of months.

During his time in WCW, he didn’t have any memorable feuds, nor achieved any notable success, other than a pay-per-view win against Big Sky at Fall Brawl ’93.
