• Old School ECW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School ECW Veteran Little Guido (Real name: James Maritato) celebrates his birthday today.

Little Guido wrestled for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling from 1996 until the company closed its doors in early 2001.

For most of his time in ECW, Little Guido was a member of The Full Blooded Italians (F.B.I.) alongside other members, such as Tracy Smothers, J.T. Smith, Tommy Rich, Big Val Puccio, Sal E. Graziano, Big Guido and Tony Mamaluke.

In 2002 Maritato was signed by World Wrestling Entertainment, where was now known as ‘Nunzio’ and reformed The Full Blooded Italians with former WCW Wrestlers Chuck Palumbo & Johnny “The Bull” Stamboli … and later again with Big Vito.

• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated Her Birthday

Today would’Ve been the birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Mae Young (Real name: Johnnie Mae Young).

Mae Young competed in professional wrestling matches from 1939 to 2010, which means she wrestled in 9 different decades, being active in the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s & 2010s.

In 2008 she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Pat Patterson.
