• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (March 26, 2001) – WWF RAW IS WAR

On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF RAW IS WAR’.

It was broadcasted from the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio and featured matches, interviews & segments, on the road to the ‘WWF WrestleMania X-Seven’ PPV.

The show included a simulcast with the final episode WCW Monday NITRO at certain times, and featured the official announcement that Vince McMahon bought WCW, but it was later revealed (in storyline) that it was actually his son Shane McMahon who bought World Championship Wrestling.
