• Old School Wrestling Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School Wrestling Legend Michael “P.S.” Hayes (Real name: Michael Seitz) celebrates his birthday today.

During the 70s, 80s & 90s, Michael Hayes wrestled for several territories including Jim Crockett Promotions (and later World Championship Wrestling), Mid-South Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, … and even a short stint in the World Wrestling Federation.

For most of his career he was the leader of the famous faction “The Fabulous Freebirds” with his buddies Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy, Buddy Roberts and later in WCW with “Gorgeous” Jimmy “Jam” Garvin.

In 1995 Hayes joined the World Wrestling Federation as an announcer, under the name Dok Hendrix.

In 2016 The Fabulous Freebirds were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
