• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (May 17, 2023) – Old School WWF Legend Passed Away

On this day in 2023 we lost Old School WWF Legend ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham at the age of 79 due to multiple organ failure.

After a career as a bodybuilder, where Graham became a good friend of Arnold Schwarzenegger, he became a Professional Wrestler in 1969 and had his debut in early 1970.

Billy Graham wrestled for Vince McMahon Sr.’s World Wide Wrestling Federation between 1972 and 1983, with the company being renamed into World Wrestling Federation in march of 1979.

Superstar held the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship for almost a year, from April 30, 1977 until February 20, 1978.

Billy returned to the WWF for one last run in 1986 but a hip replacement surgery eventually got the better of him, so Graham retired from active professional wrestling in late 1987 and became a color commentator, before leaving the company in 1989.

In 2004 he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by ‘The Game’ Triple H.

• Old School Wrestling Valet Would Have Celebrated Her Birthday

Today would have been the birthday of old school wrestling valet Woman (Nancy Sullivan / Nancy Benoit).

Former WCW & ECW valet Woman was actually murdered by her husband Chris Benoit and – despite a huge amount of FAKE conspiracy theories, FAKE evidence and FAKE videos all over the internet – this is exactly what happened and, like it or not, the F.B.I. report is the closest everyone will ever get to finding out what really happened back then. Everything else was made up and is nothing but a bunch of lies & fabricated bullsh*t.

Nancy made her in-ring debut in 1984 for Florida Championship Wrestling. She became a part of her ex-husband Kevin Sullivan’s stable “The Satanists”, which also included wrestlers The Lock, Luna Vachon, The Purple Haze & Sir Oliver Humperdink.

Ihe made her WCW debut in 1989 as Robin Green, a fan of Rick Steiner, who later turned heel on Steiner, joined forces with Sullivan and became “Woman”. She also appeared on Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV along with Sullivan.

Woman made her ECW debut in 1993 and also managed The Sandman over there after Sullivan left. Nancy married Chris Benoit in 2000 and by now eveyone knows how things went down in June of 2007.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & REST IN PEACE
