On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 1, 2005, World Wrestling Entertainment aired their annual ‘WWE Backlash’ event LIVE on PPV from the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire!
This was the 7th annual Backlash event held by the WWF/WWE from 1999 till 2009 and again since 2016.
The pay-per-view featured the In-Ring return of WWF Legend ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan in a tag team match.

The Hurricane and Rosey won a Tag team turmoil match (World Tag Team Championship)
