• Recently Released WWE Star Debuts In AEW-ROH

WWE released a number of wrestlers back in May. One of them was Kayden Carter, now known as Lacey Lane.

The former Women’s Tag Team Champion’s non-compete clause with WWE expired recently. She wrestled at the Ring Of Honor tapings at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia before last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio recently, she said that she would like to join All Elite Wrestling.

“I know people will probably look down at me for saying this, but I could give a sh*t because whatever, I want to work. I think AEW is my speed, because you know, those girls can f**king go. I love the way that they work. They don’t bring the bullsh*t, they bring the fists. And you know me, I’m a girl that’s down to fight. I love that.

So I can see myself there, definitely. And just because like I said, I’ve worked with a lot of people from Mexico there, like a lot of people who mentored me. My mentor’s there. A lot of people who would bring a great support system to me, I feel like, versus where I felt like I didn’t have much [in WWE]. It was like me and Kacy [Catanzaro] fighting the world over there, you know what I’m saying?”

• Real Reason Stephanie Vaquer Missed This Week’s RAW

Stephanie Vaquer’s absence from this week’s episode of RAW raised some eyebrows, but according to the Wrestling Observer, there’s no reason for concern.

Vaquer is dealing with a minor injury. She was scheduled to have a contract signing on RAW, but she wasn’t on the show. WWE confirmed to the outlet that the issue is nothing serious and that she’s expected to continue wrestling going forward.

The Observer noted that Vaquer is still planned for Wrestlepalooza, where she will face IYO SKY for the vacant Women’s World Championship.

She has also already been cleared to compete on next week’s episode of NXT Homecoming, where she will team up with Rhea Ripley and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to take on Fatal Influence (NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx).

• WWE To Reach Out To Several Retired Legends For WrestleMania 43

WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia is already being positioned as one of the most ambitious shows in WWE history.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Saudi Arabia’s goal is to deliver “the most star-studded show ever” when the event takes place in 2027. As part of that vision, officials are expected to reach out to several of WWE’s biggest legends – including The Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels – about coming out of retirement for the occasion. Money, sources say, will be no obstacle.

WWE originally targeted 2028 for a Saudi WrestleMania, but the Kingdom pushed for 2027 to coincide with the 300-year anniversary of the founding of the first Saudi state. By early August, the deal was locked in, setting the stage for the historic announcement.

There has even been internal talk of potentially running two WrestleManias in the same year – one in Saudi Arabia and another in the U.S. – to ensure American fans don’t feel overlooked. While nothing is confirmed, the financial backing behind the show means nearly any match or name is on the table.

PWInsider has confirmed this as well, as they reported that a major effort is anticipated to bring several legendary names back in some capacity for WrestleMania 43.

Whether WWE can actually convince retired icons to lace up their boots again remains to be seen, but the Kingdom is reportedly prepared to spend massive sums to make WrestleMania 43 an event unlike any before it.
