• AEW Dynamite Results – Title Vacated, Return, Chris Jericho Facing Ex-WWE Star In His Return Match, 2 WWE Legends Attacked
The final episode of AEW Dynamite before Dynasty 2026 took place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, tonight. Below are the complete results from the show:
– The show kicked off with a brawl between The Death Riders and United Empire & Alex Windsor in the parking lot and inside the ring. Will Ospreay told Jon Moxley he took his advice to use his head seriously. He announced that United Empire will face Death Riders in tonight’s main event.
– Don Callis addressed Kyle Fletcher vacating the TNT Championship due to injury. He said he had been negotiating Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita vs. The Young Bucks at Dynasty, but now Kazuchika Okada will replace Fletcher in the match.
– The Don Callis Family (Andrade El Idolo, Konosuke Takeshita & Mark Davis) defeated Darby Allin, Bandido & Jack Perry.
After the match, The Young Bucks came out to make the save for the babyfaces as The Don Callis Family tried to take them out. Kazuchika Okada and Takeshita got into a physical exchange after which The Rascalz took them out.
– Doc Sampson told Lexy Nair backstage that Kenny Omega is healthy and cleared to wrestle and MJF is just trying to play mind games.
– TBS Championship Match: Willow Nightingale (c) def. Queen Aminata.
This was Aminata’s return match. Hikarua Shida watched from ringside.
– Chris Jericho appeared to sign his new AEW contract. He said he loves AEW, wants to give back to the company he helped start and contribute to pro wrestling in any way. The Demand interrupted. Ricochet said nobody wanted Jericho and told him to never come back before he got himself hurt. Jericho said he didn’t give a sh*t about Ricochet and called him bald.
Jericho revealed a clause in his contract letting him pick anyone as his opponent at Dynasty and told Ricochet he’ll see him on Sunday.
– Konosuke Takeshita said he wants a shot at Kazuchika Okada’s International Championship. Don Callis said if the duo beats The Young Bucks at Dynasty, they can have a title match at Double Or Nothing.
– Dynasty Casino Gauntlet #1 Entrant Match: Tommaso Ciampa defeated Mascara Dorada.
– The Dogs attacked Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong backstage. David Finlay then challenged Mistico and JetSpeed to a match for the AEW World Trios Championship on Collision.
– AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla said in a backstage interview that Jamie Hayter won’t reclaim the title as long as she’s in the company.
– Adam Copeland and Christian Cage arrived to send a message to FTR. Cope said jealousy and pettiness started their rivalry and vowed to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Cage at Dynasty. Cage said he visited Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler’s mom to bang them and added he’d do the same with Stokely Hathaway’s mom after winning on Sunday.
FTR blinsided Cope & Cage. RPG Vice attacked Cope outside. Cage tried to fight back in the ring, but Harwood stomped his arm while it was trapped in a chair.
– Darby Allin talked about his upcoming match with Andrade El Idolo at Dynasty. He said he wants to become AEW World Champion because it is the biggest accolade in the company.
– United Empire defeated The Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC & Daniel Garcia).
Ospreay and Callum Newman pinned Mox to get the win.
Will Ospreay tried to take out Mox after the match, but Castagnoli made the save.
– A video package for Kenny Omega aired before his promo.
Omega said he shouldn’t have lost his cool, but MJF should have, since MJF doesn’t have a career in Japan like him. Omega said AEW fans deserve a champion who’s the greatest in the ring, and that’s not MJF. He vowed to reclaim the AEW World Championship and start righting all the wrongs MJF has done. He added that Dynasty will be MJF’s last defense before the real AEW World Champion shows up.
MJF interrupted and asked Omega what his excuse will be after Sunday. He said Omega will find out he’s not on the level of The Devil, like the rest of the locker room. MJF added that The God of Pro Wrestling will fall on Sunday.
Omega went for a handshake, but MJF lunged at him and got caught with a V-Trigger instead. Omega took off MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring and ended the show saying that by the time Dynasty is over, MJF won’t be talking about how “better” he is, instead Omega will tell everyone “goodbye” and “good night.”
