3. Rumor Killer On New Main Roster Debut At Royal Rumble 2017
After Shinsuke Nakamura lost the NXT Championship to Bobby Roode at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio, there’s some speculation going on that Nakamura will be making his WWE main roster debut tonight at Royal Rumble 2017.
However, that’s not the case. WWE played a major injury angle with Nakamura at the event (which ultimately resulted in him losing the match) and this means he won’t be making an appearance at Royal Rumble 2017.
Speaking of WWE main roster debuts, former two time NXT Champion Samoa Joe is expected to make his debut tonight at Royal Rumble 2017, most probably as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match.
Joe wasn’t involved in any match at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio and was shown in attendance for the show.
