• Seth Rollins Undergoing Surgery, Expected to be Out for Several Months
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE superstar Seth Rollins is scheduled for an immediate shoulder surgery for a legitimate injury. The operation is expected to keep Rollins out of action for a minimum of several months.
The Observer further confirms the previous reports that the injury occurred during Rollins’ match against Cody Rhodes this past Saturday. As many had suspected, Rollins was hurt while attempting a risky “coast-to-coast” head-butt maneuver, landing directly on his shoulder.
The injury instantly changed the company’s creative direction, forcing the creatives to rush Reed and Breakker into position as the top heels on the RAW brand.
According to the report, those in WWE creative confirmed that while the WrestleMania 42 card is not finalized, the major plan was for Rollins to be in one of the biggest matches of the show: a showdown against Roman Reigns, which seems derailed now.
We wish Seth the best with his upcoming surgery and hope he has a speedy recovery!

• Good News For WWE Fans Who Hate Def Rebel
WWE fans have long voiced frustration over the company’s use of Def Rebel-produced entrance themes. Many feel the tracks are generic, and since the production company signed a deal with WWE, wrestlers rarely get music that truly fits their character.
Bodyslam reports that Def Rebel is currently working under its final contract with WWE, though there’s no word on when the deal is set to expire. They also noted that WWE is expected to collaborate with outside artists on some music moving forward.
Last week on SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura and The Street Profits returned to their original entrance themes. This week on RAW, Kairi Sane became the latest talent to get her classic theme back.
Some WWE stars have reportedly been requesting changes to their entrance music for a while now. This could be a key reason WWE’s partnership with Def Rebel may be coming to an end.
