• The Undertaker Explains Why WWE Is Difficult For Him To Watch These Days

On a recent episode of ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’, WWF Legend The Undertaker expressed his displeasure with professional wrestlers constantly breaking kayfabe on social media all the time these days.

Here’s what The Deadman had to say:

“Guys always protected their kayfabe backstory in previous eras. There wasn’t social media and all that stuff going on.

If you were from the Sudan, you were from the Sudan, and you didn’t let anyone know any different. They want the soil. It’s driven by social media, just like everything else in our society.

It’s difficult for me to watch anything because everyone shares details of their lives online.

For example, how can you be this guy on TV and then a completely different person online? So, there is a significant gap for me.

I don’t necessarily like it, but it is what it is and that is where we are, so there is nothing I can do about it.”

The Undertaker retired from pro-wrestling at the WWE Survivor Series 2020 pay-per-view, after performing the character on WWF/WWE TV for 30 years, ever since his official debut during the WWF Survivor Series 1990 PPV.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Vince McMahon in 2022.
