3. Dolph Ziggler Becomes The New #1 Contender For the WWE World Championship
A Fatal-4 way elimination match to crown the new #1 contender for the WWE World Championship was held in the main event of SmackDown Live.
The following wrestlers competed in the match:

– Dolph Ziggler
– Luke Harper

Dolph Ziggler pinned Dean Ambrose to become the new #1 contender for the WWE World Championship. The Miz distracted Ambrose during the ending moments of the match and Ziggler took advantage by hitting the Superkick for the win.
Ziggler will now face Styles for the WWE World Title on the December 27th episode of SmackDown Live.
