6. John Cena Wants Someone To Take His Spot In The WWE

During last night’s edition of Talking Smack, John Cena noted that he’s open to other Superstars taking his spot in the WWE if they’re willing to do what he does for the company. Below is what Cena said:

“I’m openly waiting for someone to step up and do that. Everybody asks me, ‘hey, when are you moving over?’ It just fuels me to get stronger, faster and hone my craft more. People have moments, moments that last in the annals of WWE history. But if you look at what I’ve done, I just show up all the time and deliver. I am waiting for someone after 14 years to show up all the time and deliver. You can ask many other WWE Superstars who know exactly how hard that is. I am just waiting for someone not to do it once, just to do it consistently better.”

5. Lillian Garcia Talks About Owen Hart Accidentally Releasing His Harness At WWF Over the Edge 1999 & Chris Benoit’s Double Murder-Suicide

During a recent appearance on The Tomorrow Show, Lillian Garcia talked about how a freak accident resulted in Owen Hart’s death at WWF Over the Edge 1999 & former World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit’s double murder-suicide. Below are the highlights:

On how Owen Hart was able to accidentally release his harness before his tragic fall:

“He passed away from an accident from what I understand he was going from his cape…But when he went for his cape the release button right here (points to shoulder) is right here too, from what I understand, so he hit the release on it and that’s why he went down…he was trying to adjust his cape, and the release latch was right there and so that’s why it released…So that was a total freak accident that happened.”

On Chris Benoit’s double murder-suicide:

“I remember that that day we were told that they were going to do a tribute show, and they said just go back to your hotel rooms and we’ll regroup tomorrow to do ‘Smackdown’. So, I’ll never forget that the four people — the three other people I was with that night were Victoria, Ric Flair and Rowdy Roddy Piper…we found a way to come together and really we really figured it out that WWE is a family…I knew Chris for seven years. Never expected that from him at all–ever.”
