WWE SummerSlam 2025 – Night 1 took place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This was the first two-night SummerSlam in WWE history and the 38th annual edition of SummerSlam. Cardi B, the host of SummerSlam 2025, kicked off the show and hyped up the fans. She said she loves Randy Orton and said nobody will forget this event. We are kicking things off with the tag team match. Jey Uso came out first through the crowd, followed by Roman Reigns. Paul Heyman then accompanied Bron Breakker and “The Tribal Thief” Bronson Reed with the “Shoe-la Fala”.
Fans are singing for Roman Reigns. This is The OTC’s first match since WrestleMania 41, where Paul Heyman betrayed him. Jey and Roman did the YEET dance mid-match, which led to Bron and Bronson pulling Roman out of the ring and beating him up. Jey then dived on top of all of them.
Fans are chanting “We Want Roman” and he finally enters the match. Reigns went for his massive “Air Reigns” dive on top of both Bron & Bronson and took down both of them! Bronson also took out Reigns and Uso with a suicide dive.
Bron was looking to spear Roman on the outside, but Roman nailed a Superman Punch and then speared Bron through the barricade! Bronson was looking to hit the Tsunami on Jey, but Roman hit the Superman Punch. Roman and Jey then hit the 1D on Reed. Jey went for the cover, but Bron broke up the cover.
Roman took the bullet for Jey in the form of a spear from Breakker. Jey superkicked Bron out of the ring. Jey then hit Reed with a spear and a splash, and pinned him for the win.
