7. Another Possible Indication That Roman Reigns Won’t Walk Out of Royal Rumble 2017 As The WWE Universal Champion
As we noted before, plans were for “The Guy” Roman Reigns to win the WWE Universal Championship from Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble 2017 and then go on to defend the Title at WrestleMania 33.
However, it looks like there might be a slight change in plans. Now there is a chance that Reigns might not capture the Universal Title at Royal Rumble 2017, but finally wins it at FastLane 2017.
This could be the reason behind WWE making this Title match a “No Disqualification” match, so WWE officials can book an interference angle, somehow from Jericho (who will be locked and suspended high above the ring in a shark cage) or from some other wrestler.
However, the end plan remains the same – Roman Reigns entering WrestleMania 33 as the WWE Universal Champion!
