7. Goldberg Comments On Asuka Approaching His WCW Record
As we all know, former WWE & WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg went 173-0 in WCW (173 wins without a single defeat).
Current NXT Women’s Champion Asuka is closing in on that record and is at 149-0 (only 25 matches away from breaking Goldberg’s record). Below is what Goldberg tweeted to Asuka:
Congratulations @WWEAsuka on your 149th win in a row! #whosnext 次はどなたですか

The honor is more than I deserve.

However, that might not happen as current plan is for Asuka to drop the NXT Women’s Championship to Ember Moon on April 1, 2017 at NXT TakeOver: Orlando.
Speaking of Asuka, she will make her Madison Square Garden debut at the March 12th WWE Live Event, where she will replace an injured Naomi. Below is the match that she’ll be a part of:
Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Tamina & NXT Women’s Champion Asuka vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Natalya & Carmella.
