3. Monster Push Planned For Samoa Joe
As we noted before, former two time NXT Champion Samoa Joe is expected to make his main roster debut at Royal Rumble 2017 (most probably as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match).
This is the reason why Joe hasn’t been involved in any feud on NXT after he lost the NXT Title to Shinsuke Nakamura, wasn’t filmed for a segment at last week’s NXT TV tapings (he only worked a dark tag team match) and isn’t booked for any match at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio.
Word is that after making his WWE main roster debut, Joe will join SmackDown Live.
There are plans for Joe to be involved in one of the top matches at WrestleMania 33 and will be given a “monster push” (similar to what Brock Lesnar was on after his WrestleMania 30 victory over The Undertaker).
