1. Major Title Change At TNA TV Tapings

TNA taped two episodes of Impact Wrestling (which featured the aftermath from Bound For Glory 2016). TNA President Billy Corgan announced that all Titles (except the X-Division Title) will be defended. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Lashley was given the choice to defend his Title against the following 3 opponents:

– Ethan Carter III

– Eddie Edwards

– Moose

Lashley chose Eddie Edwards as he thought he was the easiest to beat out of them 3. The match ended with Eddie defeating Lashley to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. This is his 1st run with the TNA World Title. It should be noted that Lashley defeated all the top names in TNA during his 3rd TNA World Title run which began at Slammiversary 2016 (where he defeated Drew Galloway to win the Title). Lashley successfully defended the Title against EC3 this past Sunday at Bound For Glory 2016.
