5. Paul Heyman Giving Inputs To WWE Storylines?

It is being reported that Paul Heyman recently asked to have more backstage work in the WWE, like giving creative input in Raw & SmackDown storylines. This could have been a condition under Heyman’s new WWE contract, which he signed around SummerSlam 2016.

No word yet on if Heyman’s request was granted but it should be noted that Vince McMahon is happy to accept creative ideas from people who actually work in the business, unlike the “hollywood writers” they have now.

4. WWE Teasing New Opponents For The New Day, Unfinished Business Between TJP & Brian Kendrick

As seen at Clash of Champions 2016, The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) defeated Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson to retain the Raw Tag Team Titles. They will now enter Raw as the Raw Tag Team Champions for 400 days! Below is what WWE posted regarding their next opponents:

Who will be The New Day’s next challengers?

That was one heck of a horn solo. Last night at WWE Clash of Champions, Xavier Woods enlisted the aid of Francesca II to help Big E & Kofi Kingston defeat Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, extending The New Day’s Raw Tag Team Championship reign to 400 days in the process. Now that The New Day has decisively turned back Gallows & Anderson, the future looks bright for our eternally optimistic Team Red trio. You won’t want to miss what The New Day has in store tonight.

WWE is also teasing that there’s unfinished business between Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins & The Brian Kendrick. TJP defeated Kendrick to retain his Title at Clash of Champions 2016. Below is what WWE posted:

Brian Kendrick’s post-match attack on WWE Cruiserweight Champion T.J. Perkins last night spoiled what should have been a celebratory moment for the tenacious titleholder, and even though the two competitors have known each other for more than 15 years on the independent scene, there’s no love lost between them heading into tonight’s Raw. In a post-match interview on WWE.com, Perkins made it clear that he has unfinished business with the so-called “Wizard of Odd,” and he just might have that opportunity for retribution when Monday night’s hottest show goes live in Cincinnati.

3. Will Roman Reigns Receive A New Challenge on Raw?

THE Guy became THE United States Champion last night at Clash of Champions 2016. It should be noted that now all 3 Shield members have held the United States Title & the WWE World Title. Below is what WWE posted regarding Reigns’ big Title victory:

The Big Dog is back on top. Overcoming Rusev’s size advantage and Lana’s attempted interference outside the ring, Reigns conquered The Super Athlete last night at WWE Clash of Champions to capture the United States Title. As The Bulgarian Brute seethes in defeat, Reigns carries the star-spangled title to Raw. Will Reigns need to handle a vengeance-seeking Super Athlete, or will a new challenger emerge with their sights set on Old Glory?

In a post-match interview (as seen in the video above), Reigns said it doesn’t matter where he wrestles on the card because he is THE main event!
