• WWE Officials Are Very Happy With RAW Wrestler
The Kabuki Warriors turned heel last month after Asuka failed to defeat Rhea Ripley on an episode of RAW. Asuka and Kairi Sane unleashed a beat-down on Ripley and IYO SKY that night.
While Asuka embraced the change fully, Kairi Sane was initially hesitant to turn on her friends. She was, however, pushed by The Empress into following through.
On this week’s episode of RAW, Sane was slapped by Asuka in a backstage segment as she held her responsible for The Kabuki Warriors’ loss to Ripley and SKY at Crown Jewel. Later in the night, The Pirate Princess helped Asuka brutalize Ripley and SKY after losing to The Eradicator in a singles match.
According to TC of WrestleVotes, multiple sources have praised Sane for her recent work. Her match against Ripley on RAW and her backstage work with Asuka have drawn particularly positive attention from WWE officials.
Triple H had originally positioned Naomi as the top heel in the RAW Women’s division before her pregnancy. Now, it looks like Asuka has stepped into that role and will likely drag Sane along with her, unless The Pirate Princess decides to take a stand against The Empress.
• “You dumb, stupid, salty Mark” – Mercedes Moné Reacts To Dave Meltzer’s Recent Comment
Women’s wrestling has delivered some of the best storylines and matches of 2025, with several standout performers in contention for Female Wrestler Of The Year.
A fan on X recently asked Wrestling Observer journalist Dave Meltzer for his thoughts, writing:
“Do you think Mercedes Mone has a shot at female wrestler of the year? I think it’s close between her and Iyo Sky.”
Meltzer replied: “That’s a tough category. In ring the best is Sareee. All-around as contenders, I see Toni Storm, Mone, Sky, Sareee and Saya Kamitani as favorites.”
AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, who has had a very successful year, did not seem pleased with the response and immediately took aim at Meltzer.
“You dumb, stupid, salty Mark! I’m the greatest of all time, 10 belts Moné, The CEO, Último Moné. I had the greatest year of my career! Who’s better than me?”
Moné has won 10 titles across different promotions this year. She is on track to become the longest reigning TBS Champion of all time.
The CEO could win her 11th title on Sunday as she is scheduled to take on Jody Threat for the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship. If she wins, she’ll break Último Dragon’s record of holding 10 simultaneous titles.
