This is another feud that is expected to end tonight. The Miz will defend the Intercontinental Title against Dolph Ziggler in a Ladder match tonight at TLC 2016.
The plan is for The Miz to successfully defend the Title tonight and continue his run as one of the top stars of SmackDown Live.
Current Plan For The New Wyatt Family vs. Rhyno & Heath Slater
As seen on the go-home edition of SmackDown Live for TLC 2016, the team of Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton defeated American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) in the main event of the show to become the #1 contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
They will now face Rhyno & Heath Slater for the Titles at TLC 2016. Word is that Wyatt & Orton are scheduled to defeated Rhyno & Slater to capture the Tag Team Titles of the Blue Brand. WWE officials think putting the Titles on Wyatt & Orton (who are main event level stars) would help bring prestige to the newly introduced SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

It should be noted that Wyatt has been on the WWE main roster for over 3 years now and still hasn’t won any Title. This would turn out to be his first Title reign in WWE. It’s interesting to note that Wyatt Family member Luke Harper has held a Title (Intercontinental Title) on the main roster, but the leader of the group hasn’t.
