• 1st Time Ever Match Made Official For WrestleMania 39
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, LA Knight defeated Rey Mysterio after some help from Dominik Mysterio.
Rey’s wife and daughter were at ringside for this match. Dominik approached his mother after the match and asked her what it feels like to be married to a deadbeat like Rey Mysterio, and then accused her of being a deadbeat Mom.
Rey punched Dominik and said he crossed the line by disrespecting Angie. The soon to be WWE Hall of Famer then accepted his son’s challenge for WrestleMania 39 to make their match official.

Also on tonight’s SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that John Cena vs. Austin Theory for the United States Championship will kick off WrestleMania 39 – it will be the first match of Night 1 (aka WrestleMania Saturday).
Later in the show, Natalya & Shotzi defeated Lacey Evans & Xia Li to qualify for the Women’s WrestleMania Showcase Match. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler then came out and said they have been added to this match as well.
