Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day.
• In a heartwarming turn of events, CJ Perry / Lana and Miro / Rusev have rekindled their romance, reaffirming their commitment to each other after a period of separation. The pair, who initially parted ways over a year ago, have officially reunited and even renewed their wedding vows.
According to exclusive details shared with TMZ Sports, the spark was reignited in June 2024. Miro returned to the United States following a trip to his native Bulgaria, prompting the couple to reconnect. As the months passed, their bond grew stronger, culminating in Perry traveling to Bulgaria to spend the Christmas holidays with Miro.
Their renewed affection led them to a small, intimate ceremony at a church in Los Angeles just weeks ago, where they reaffirmed their vows and solidified their commitment to their marriage. The couple is now living together, dividing their time between the bustling city of Los Angeles and the serene landscapes of Bulgaria.
Perry and Miro had initially separated in the winter of 2023, after having tied the knot in a July 2016 ceremony. However, they revealed that they never legally filed for divorce, leaving the door open for their eventual reconciliation.
With their relationship back on track, fans can expect to see the couple making public appearances together once again. Perry was released from AEW in April 2024, and reports indicate that Miro’s contract with the organization has also expired.
It looks like Rusev & Lana are on their way back to WWE, as Sean Ross Sapp said the following on The Hump:
“I think that’s why that information came out. I think that was very intentional.”
• Queen of the Ring star Damaris Lewis appeared on camera at AEW Revolution and said the following:
“You all know you are going to win before everybody else does, so thank you for teaching me that.”

According to Fightful Select, there were audible groans backstage at the PPV when Lewis said this.
Sean Ross Sapp also noted that AEW officials prepped Lewis for this interview beforehand, but she still messed up:
“There is (a discussion beforehand with celebrities) and there was. I don’t know why that woman said what she said. They didn’t script her obviously. They thought she’s a normal actress, she can handle this and then she could not handle it whatsoever.”
