Today would have been the 92nd birthday of Old School WWF Legend “Lord” Alfred Hayes.

Lord Alfred Hayes was considered the voice of the World Wrestling Federation for the 80s & early 90s, hosting popular segments like ‘WWF Update’ and working as a backstage interviewer and announcer.

He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 as part of their annual Legacy Wing inductions.

On last night’s SmackDown, Stephanie McMahon announced a Triple Brand Battle Royal for next week’s SmackDown. The winner of that Battle Royal will face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.

With wrestlers from RAW, SmackDown and NXT set to be a part of the match, there’s a lot of curiosity among the fans about who could show up during the match and who’s going to win it.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley looks interested in making an appearance on next week’s SmackDown, as she hinted it in the following tweet.
