Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring NXT and WrestleMania 41.

• 2 Top NXT Stars Are Considered A Part Of RAW Now

Giulia and Roxanne Perez, both former NXT Women’s Champions, have officially joined the RAW roster, following back-to-back appearances on Monday Night RAW and some subtle but telling visual cues.

According to PWInsider, both Perez and Giulia sported official “RAW debut” patches on their ring gear during last week’s episode. These patches, often used by WWE and its partners, typically mark formal main roster call-ups and are included in merchandise and trading cards to signify a star’s official debut.

This system was highlighted during WrestleMania 41 as well, with stars displaying patches for their WrestleMania appearances and others for their returns or debuts.

While the outlet was still working to confirm the roster changes, the presence of these debut patches strongly suggests both Roxanne and Giulia are now full-time members of the Raw brand.

On this week’s RAW, Roxanne faced Rhea Ripley in a match that ended in a disqualification win for Ripley after Giulia interfered.

That moment led to a confrontation with Women’s World Champion IYO SKY, hinting at a future tag team showdown between Perez & Giulia and the duo of Ripley & Sky.

• Why WWE Didn’t Book The TLC Match For WrestleMania 41

In the main event of last week’s post-WrestleMania 41 episode of SmackDown, The Street Profits defeated #DIY and Motor City Machine Guns in a TLC match to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.

WrestleVotes reported the following regarding this match taking place on SmackDown instead of WrestleMania:

“It was a numbers thing, I was told. They presented the card, and they were happy with it. Looking back on it, in hindsight, you’d rather see the TLC match on the WrestleMania card, but it didn’t.”

WWE Officials also thought it was an apt way to end the WrestleMania season with a banger.
