• 2 Top NXT Stars Might Be Getting Called Up In The WWE Draft Tonight
As we noted in our previous article, WWE has revealed the list of names that are eligible for the Draft on Night 1 (SmackDown) and Night 2 (RAW).
WWE noted that “Select NXT Superstars” will get drafted on both nights.
According to PWInsider, top NXT wrestlers Bron Breakker and Cora Jade are scheduled to be backstage at tonight’s SmackDown. Both are expected to get called up to the main roster.
Breakker is currently involved in a feud with Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship. Breakker turned heel recently and showed a vicious side of him. Breakker vs. Hayes for the NXT Title is currently planned for NXT Battleground.
It should be noted that WWE has called up NXT stars to the main roster and still let them complete their storyline in NXT.
Cora (who is Bron’s real-life girlfriend) recently wrestled a match on WWE Main Event before RAW and impressed WWE Officials.
We previously reported that former NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly are scheduled to be backstage at SmackDown as well, as they are expected to get called up after finishing up on NXT this week at Spring Breakin’.
