• 2 WWE Hall Of Famers Expected To Wrestle At Elimination Chamber 2023
WWE’s Elimination Chamber 2023 premium live event will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on February 18th.
Canada’s own, “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge is scheduled to wrestle at this event, along with his wife, fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix.
According to Wrestlingnewsco, Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley in a Mixed Tag Team Match is currently scheduled for this event.
Balor defeated Edge in an “I Quit” match at Extreme Rules 2022, after Edge was forced to utter those words due to Ripley threatening to attack Beth, which she did anyway despite Edge quitting.
Edge vs. Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell match was originally planned for Royal Rumble 2023, but that isn’t happening.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (January 27, 1999) – WCW Festival de Lucha
On this day in Pro Wrestling history on January 27, 1999, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling filmed ‘WCW Festival de Lucha’ from the Heart O’ Texas Fair Complex in Waco, Texas.
The taping of this event was supposed to be the pilot episode of an upcoming show (that was eventually canceled), similar to what the World Wrestling Federation was doing with their own weekly ‘WWF Super Astros’ TV show, that featured Mexican Lucha Libre performers as well.
