After last week’s episode went off the air, WWE taped tonight’s February 20th episode of NXT.
The reason they taped tonight’s show is that key NXT personnel are attending tryouts in Perth, Australia right now, necessitating the early taping for this episode. WWE is heading to Perth for the Elimination Chamber PLE, and NXT will return to live shows on February 27th after the taped episode.

– Oba Femi (c) def. Lexis King to retain the NXT North American Championship
– Roxanne Perez def. Wren Sinclair
– Josh Briggs def. Brooks Jensen
During this match, Briggs was bleeding from the mouth and Jensen had a cut on his forehead.
– The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin), who are the newly crowned NXT Tag Team Champions, entered the ring with the Dusty Cup. They bantered, referencing past matches and victories. Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) interrupted, claiming they are owed a title shot. Nathan Frazer & Axiom also asserted their claim. Corbin suggested settling it in a match. NXT General Manager Ava (The Rock’s daughter) announced a match between Frazer/Axiom and Chase U to determine the #1 contenders.
– Jacy Jayne def. Arianna Grace (Santino Marella’s daughter)
– Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) def. Nathan Frazer & Axiom to become the #1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship
After the match, WWE main roster stars Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson made their return to NXT beat up all 4 men in the ring and Riley Osborne.
– Lash Legend def. Kelani Jordan
– Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Shotzi for the NXT Women’s Championship ended in a No Contest when Shotzi injured her knee
After this, General Manager Ava announced that Shotzi isn’t medically cleared to compete, so there will be an open challenge for the Women’s Title, which was answered by Lash Legend.
