• Triple H’s Condition Was “Very, Very, Very Serious”

In September, WWE issued the following statement:

“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”

Later that month, Triple H wrote the following on Twitter:

“I’ve been blown away by the outreach and support from so many people. I’m recovering, doing well, & deeply grateful for all the love in my life.

Especially grateful for @ShawnMichaels & all the Superstars & crew @WWENXT! (Steph and the girls loved the snacks!)

See you soon.”

Bruce Prichard (Brother Love) gave the following update on Triple H on his podcast:

“He is feeling better, he’s coming along good. He’s moving along man, more power to him!”

According to the Wresting Observer, a source close to the situation told them that Triple H’s heart situation was “very, very, very serious”.

During a recent interview with talkSPORT, Stephanie McMahon was asked about Triple H’s condition and here’s what she said:

“Paul is doing great, thank you very much for asking.”

While Triple H hasn’t returned to his backstage work in WWE full-time, he was recently spotted along with Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and other WWE Officials at the construction site of WWE’s new headquarters.

• Nia Jax Gives A Major Update On Her Pro-Wrestling Career

Former RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax, who got released from WWE last month, might never wrestle again.

Here’s the latest update she posted about her pro-wrestling career on Twitter:

“Lol! 😂 Newflash..Lina is my real name. It’s not another ‘ring’ name. It’s just MY NAME, the name given to me at birth. Calm TF down trolls. In all fairness, ‘Opponent Crippler’ would be a SOLID front runner if I ever decide to wrestle again. 🤣 🙌🏽 but it’s highly unlikely.”

After she got fired, Nia issued the following statement:

“I usually keep my personal life private, but yesterday’s reports leave me with no option but to clarify matters. I recently took a short leave of absence from WWE for a mental health break.

I’ve been working through so much — more than I can share — and so I took some time, the full support of the company, to take care of myself.

Earlier this week, after WWE sent me my schedule to return to the ring for the November 15 show, I asked for an extension to my mental health break, feeling that I needed more time and hoping I would have the ongoing support of the company I have given my all to for the past 7 years. I did not receive a response.

The next I heard, I was being released. My vaccination status was never mentioned. I wasn’t given any choices or options.

It breaks my heart to be so abruptly let go, without consultation, while dealing with so much privately. I loved my career at WWE, I love the men and women I worked with, and I am going to need time to process this huge loss.

I appreciate those people who have shown understanding and compassion during an incredibly difficult time.”

• “Most talented superstar that never went to WWE” – Kurt Angle On AEW Wrestler

On a recent episode of his weekly ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ podcast, our Olympic Gold Medalist talked about current AEW Superstar Kenny Omega and went as far as comparing Omega to Old School WCW/WWE Legend Rey Mysterio.

Here’s what Kurt Angle had to say about the former AEW World Champion:

“What he’s been able to do the past 10 years in wrestling, over in Japan, here in the United States, he was the biggest star and the most talented superstar that never went to WWE. He will go down in history as that if he never does enter WWE.

His success, what he’s had in Japan and AEW, phenomenal. I haven’t seen a talent like him in a long time. I would say he’s every bit as talented as Rey Mysterio and he belongs on that upper echelons of talents.

One of the greatest workers in the business today.”

Omega is currently written off television to undergo some important surgeries and heal from all of his other injuries.

• R-Truth On Which Word Vince McMahon Hates The Most

We all know that certain words are banned on WWE programming these days, including words like Wrestling, Babyface, Heel, Kayfabe, … and many others (tap here to read the complete list).

During a recent interview with Bally Sports’ Brandon Robinson, WWF/E Veteran R-Truth (fka K-Kwik during the Attitude Era) revealed that Vince McMahon hates the word “belt” the most.

When asked which Title he wants to win the most, Truth said:

“I mean, I’m an accepting guy. I’ll take ANY belt and take it to the highest of beltstivity [laughs]. That’s what I do.

Whether if it’s WWE — and it’s not called a belt. It’s called a championship or a title. Vince McMahon says a belt is something you use to keep your pants up. So it’s a championship title, you see what I’m sayin’? (laughs)

But I would take any of those championship titles because they’re all prestigious titles and it’s an accomplishment. If you win one of the Tag [Team] Titles, it’s an accomplishment. So I think that any one of ‘em I think that you would be honored to have.”

• Recently Released Wrestler Thinks WWE Will Be Sold In 5 Years

Taya Valkyrie (fka Franky Monet in NXT) was recently released from WWE. Her husband, John Morrison, got released as well.

She tweeted the following after the most recent round of WWE releases:

“Yooooo F**KKKKK them.

Stop supporting a company that has ZERO respect for their talent. You love pro wrestling, spend your money on the hundreds of other alternatives.

This is wrong. Ethically, as employers they don’t care about us. Talent or fans.

I said what I said, agree or disagree. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming!!! And rebuilding our empire.”

Fite TV’s account asked the following question:

“Where do you see WWE in 5 years?”

Taya replied:

“Sold.”

Taya got heat from fans for her tweet. You can read some of her exchanges with fans below:

Fan: Says the one who dreamed of getting signed by them.

Taya: You’re like…super funny dude, I worked my a$$ off for 12 years to work for my heroes. And it was absolutely disappointing. If you also have dreams, you would understand. Clearly you don’t have dreams. Or goals.

Fan: Excuse me? I am not a hater. I f**king love you… But I am getting sick of seeing you always respond to negative thoughts on here, when theres dozens that tell you how amazing you are. You are all f**king hypocrites.

Taya: If you only knew how many negative comments I get. I love you too, but you need to realize that at some point I am going to stand up for myself. I’m done letting people act like we don’t have a voice.

Fan: Responding to negative comments on Twitter doesn’t accomplish anything, those people just want attention and that’s exactly what you give them, the only thing thing you accomplish by responding to them is putting negativity on your timeline.

Taya: lol, I would love for you or anyone to deal with the negativity that we as women pro wrestlers deal with. I will always have a voice. And I’m not going to be silenced by dumb a$$ trolls.

Fan: If nobody ever responded to negative comments on Twitter those comments would die and those people wouldn’t get the attention they want.

Taya: So you want us to be push overs?

Fan: Bitter!

Taya: You’re an idiot.

Fan: Doubt it, you just seem salty. I’m sad about John, but nah definitely not you…worst parts of AAA, Lucha Underground and TNA were when you tried to hog the spotlight from the more talented.

Taya: And people like this are problem. Wtf.
