• 2 WWE Wrestlers Not Granted Their Release
Former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans / The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler) have asked for their release from WWE, Fightful Select reported.
Their most recent work on NXT was being a part of Joe Gacy’s Schism faction.
Their last match was at the NXT Stand & Deliver 2023 premium live event on Saturday, where Schism lost to Chase University and Tyler Bate on the Kickoff Show.
They signed with WWE in 2018 and originally worked on the NXT UK brand, before being moved to NXT.
After this update, the Wrestling Observer reported that they have been granted their release, but that’s not the case:
“That’s up in the air now. They were telling people that they got the release. I actually heard from someone this morning in WWE and it was, ‘Yeah, they’re gone’, and then later in the day, it was like, ‘I don’t think they got the release’. So, they told people they didn’t, but I got the impression that is not necessarily the case.”
