On this day in 2006, World Wrestling Entertainment aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWE Monday Night RAW’.

This episode was broadcasted from the Harbor Yard Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, one night after SummerSlam 2006 and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWE Unforgiven 2006’ PPV.

• 205 Live Possibly Getting Cancelled Soon

With SmackDown moving to FOX on Friday nights and NXT moving to the USA Network next month, there have been talks of cancellation of 205 Live – according to the Wrestling Observer.

Wrestling Observer reports that WWE considers 205 Live a failed experiment and the time for the end of the Cruiserweight-exclusive show might be near.

The Wrestling Observer also noted that total WWE programming hours when SmackDown moves to FOX on Friday nights will be 3, which means there are chances that 205 Live would continue to exist, but there’s a bigger chance that the extra one hour to allocated to a new show (possibly on FS1 or the WWE Network).

According to WrestleVotes, the relationship between CFO$ and WWE is officially over. CFO$ will no longer produce WWE themes.
