On this day in 1994, the World Wrestling Federation aired another episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Monday Night RAW’.

It was broadcasted from the Struthers Field House in Youngstown, Ohio and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF King of the Ring 1994’ PPV.

• 24/7 Championship Is Considered A Jobber Title Backstage In WWE

As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley introduced the WWE 24/7 Championship.

According to Brad Shepard, a source in WWE told him that the 24/7 Championship is seen as a jobber title and it’s only for the low-card wrestlers in WWE:

“I asked for feedback on the 24/7 Title introduction and the 24/7 Segments from Raw and a source in WWE thought the artwork and design of the title was pretty disappointing and stated ‘this was a jobber title to give those guys something to do’.

They know the crowd was flat as hell for the introduction of the title and said they couldn’t blame them.”
