On his Kliq This podcast, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash addressed fan criticism directed at Triple H regarding WrestleMania 43 taking place in Saudi Arabia – and immediately shut down the idea that Triple H has anything to do with choosing international venues.
Nash said fans have recently blamed Triple H for WWE continuing to run premium live events in the Middle East, but Nash stressed that creative and corporate decisions are entirely separate.
“Paul was getting heat for… you know, them going to Saudi Arabia. My friend’s job is… he’s head of creative. He’s not the business guy that picks the f**king venues. That’s not his job.”
Venue selection, international relations, and corporate partnerships all fall well above Triple H’s authority: “It’s above his pay grade.”
Nash then addressed the follow-up question – whether booking or storylines change depending on where WWE hosts its shows. To Nash, geography makes zero difference to the creative team.
“You’re going to book what the f**k… I mean, you can put a ring anywhere. You’re booking the action that goes on in the ring. You’re booking for the event.”
Nash did admit that some venues help enhance spectacle – such as WWE’s major shows in Las Vegas:
“Does it help that you have the spectacle they had in Vegas? Absolutely.”
But overall, Nash made it very clear that Triple H should not be blamed for WWE’s business-location decisions, and that creative storytelling remains identical no matter what country the show is in.

WWE NXT’s Izzi Dame started dating RAW star Bron Breakker in 2024. The couple has been public about their relationship for over a year.

The exchange began when Zaria posted a gym photo with Sol Ruca and Grayson Waller, flexing their biceps and captioning it: “Juiced up for NXT tonight.”
A fan asked if Zaria could crush eggs with her biceps.

Izzi Dame is set to be in Tatum Paxley’s corner on Week 1 of Gold Rush, where the NXT Women’s Champion will defend her title against Jacy Jayne.
On the other hand, Zaria will face Fallon Henley for the vacant WWE Women’s Speed Championship on Week 2 of Gold Rush.
