3 Debut Matches On Tonight’s WWE Show, Faction Betrays Member

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT took place at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Below are the complete results from the show:

– Mason Rook & Kam Hendrix defeated NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo & NXT North American Champion Myles Borne after Tavion Heights accidentally cost the champions the match. Rook laid out Borne before Hendrix stole the pin.  This was the televised NXT debut match of both Rook and Hendrix. 

– DarkState hyped up their NXT Tag Team Title match against The Vanity Project and said they could become three-time champions tonight.

– Kelani Jordan called herself the fastest homegrown talent in WWE and claimed she was better than every woman called up to RAW and SmackDown, as well as everyone backstage in NXT. She brought up beating Kendal Grey last week and said she remains the only woman to make NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice tap out. Kelani complained that she has never received a title opportunity despite being better than the rest of the division.

Izzi Dame interrupted and reminded everyone she was the one who pinned Lola, saying she deserved the next title shot and telling Kelani to get back in line. Lola Vice then came out and said she was better than everyone, which is why she is champion, before officially granting Izzi a title match next week.

Kendal Grey then came out and said she still has her sights set on the title. Wren Sinclair attacked Kelani and Izzi from behind with her crutch as the babyfaces stood tall to close the segment.

– Layla Diggs was watching a Nattie interview backstage when Jaida Parker confronted her. The exchange led to Jaida challenging Diggs to a match next week as the women’s locker room tried to keep them separate.

– Tristan Angels defeated Romeo Moreno in his debut match.

Shiloh Hill watched from the crowd holding a “Mr. NXT” sign. Angels said Hill belongs in the crowd and promised to make him pay for trying to ruin his reputation after Hills showed a photo of him in a tailcoat and hat.

– Lola Vice spoke to NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley about the price of being champion and asked her how she dealt with Izzi Dame for so long. Myles Borne and Tony D’Angelo then appeared, with Tony warning Myles to keep Tavion Heights out of his business. Everyone wished Tatum luck ahead of her title defense against Lizzy Rain.

– Naraku warned Tony D’Angelo that evil will strike when he least expects it.

– Shawn Spears told Niko Vance he got them a match against Out The Mud next week.

– NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: Tatum Paxley (c) defeated Lizzy Rain.

After the match, Zaria attacked both women while they were hugging.

– Wren Sinclair told Kendal Grey she felt bad about being a distraction during her match against Kelani Jordan last week. Robert Stone then walked in and told Wren that if she is medically cleared, she can compete next week.

– Keanu Carver defeated Tate Wilder.

– The Vanity Project were worried about being outnumbered by DarkState until Myka Lockwood appeared and said she would handle them.

– Kam Hendrix was calling his shot at Tony D’Angelo’s NXT Championship when Mason Rook interrupted and said the crowd saw he stole the pin earlier in the night and wouldn’t even be in position to challenge without him. Rook told Hendrix to give him credit, but Hendrix replied that nobody would remember Rook was even in the match and that it was every man for himself, before rubbing his belly. Rook then took Hendrix out.

– Charlie Dempsey vs. Shiloh Hill was made official for next week.

– NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor) (c) defeated DarkState after miscommunication between Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars.

DarkState turned on Saquon Shugars after the match and put him through the announce table.
