Below are some WWE & AEW updates, including a news story about SummerSlam 2023:

– WWE SummerSlam 2023 will take place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan (the site of WrestleMania 23 in 2007) on August 5th.

According to Xero News, the following matches are currently planned for SummerSlam 2023:

Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes III

Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa)

Ciampa has been off WWE TV for a while now due to injury. Gargano has teased in interviews that he’ll team up with his former tag team partner Ciampa again once he returns.

No word on if Owens & Zayn will remain Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions heading into SummerSlam. They will defend the Titles against Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa at Night Of Champions on May 27th.

– Last week’s SmackDown drew 2.15 million viewers with a 0.56 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is up from previous week’s 2.06 million viewers with a 0.52 rating.

– Last week’s Rampage drew 284,000 viewers with a 0.07 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from previous week’s 294,000 viewers with a 0.09 rating.

– Monday’s RAW drew 1.72 million viewers with a 0.58 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from last week’s 1.79 million viewers with a 0.51 rating.

– Tuesday’s NXT drew 564,000 viewers with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from last week’s 601,000 viewers with a 0.17 rating.

– Wednesday’s Dynamite drew 814,000 Viewers with a 0.28 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from last week’s 877,000 viewers with a 0.32 rating.

– After NXT Battleground on May 28, the next NXT premium live event will take place on August 12, a week after SummerSlam.
