Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton should be an intriguing rivalry, judging by the great chemistry between the two over the years. Orton returned to the ring last week on RAW to compete in the 10-man battle royal.
Randy Orton came out to challenge Kingston to a match for the WWE Title at SummerSlam, but did not get the response he wanted, instead, he had to participate in a six-man tag team match against The New Day, while teaming up with Samoa Joe and Elias. The Viper pinned Kingston clean in the six-man tag team match on SmackDown last week, which may lead to a match between the two.
Orton has been dealing with some neck problems, but fortunately, they were minor, and he’s good to go. It looks like Kingston is also healthy enough to continue his title reign (he was dealing with some back issues).
Fans are really behind Orton as he’s been getting huge pops from the crowd. Kingston vs. Orton is a rivalry many are familiar with, so it will be good to watch, after so many years. Especially with Kofi being the top guy this time.
