2. Long Overdue
Samoa Joe made his debut on the main roster at the start of 2017. Since then, Joe has been in several feuds for the main titles, but he did not win any. However, he won the United States Championship two times.
Joe had a mini feud with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship which he lost. Following the feud, he lost all the matches in which he competed for the Universal Championship. AJ Styles also had a long feud with Joe for the WWE Championship last year, which ended with Styles as the winner.
Joe has been on the main roster for long enough, and he’s pretty experienced to be the top title holder. After spending so much time in the mid-card, it’s time for Joe to be in the main event scene as the face of WWE.
