2. To Address Elias’ Attack On Him At Extreme Rules
The Undertaker and Elias have despised each other since The Phenom attacked Elias on the RAW after WrestleMania 35. Elias never got the chance to avenge the attack since The Phenom did not return after that night.
Elias had been hinting an attack on The Undertaker when he returned to save Roman against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. He finally got the chance to settle the score at Extreme Rules, when he attacked Taker with a Guitar during his match against McMahon and McIntyre.
Following the interruption, Elias got a beat down from Roman Reigns and The Deadman. Since both guys want the upper hand on each other, it is likely that this rivalry will continue in the future.
Elias vs. The Undertaker was originally rumoured for WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia, but Goldberg ended up facing The Phenom. WWE can still go for this match in the near future, perhaps at SummerSlam or the next PPV in Saudi Arabia.
The Undertaker will be looking to confront The Drifter for his actions at Extreme Rules, so there’s a good chance the two face-off at RAW Reunion and continue the rivalry.
